Lying down on the warm metal plates along the river just in front of the club where we perform on that night, I cool down with Geo Wyeth, my artist fellow from the States. I am amazed he knows the work of Gainsbourg so well and we sing the first notes of l'hôtel particulier together. Nice moment between screenings, long rehearsals and the excitement of the audience.

It all started last year, taking off some time in fall, somewhere between Vancouver and Sao Paulo, flying further to Amsterdam, Bilbao, Jakarta, New York.. and to Paris to complete the Tour at Le Divan du Monde, what a name - could there have been a better place to find some release after such a trip?
The film "Risk, Strech or Die" has been screened everywhere, and I was to be beamed with the multimedia show all around the places to accompany it !! discovering new audiences, new questions, new aspects of trangender life, new challenges which brought me nearer to myself... and further away from the film, which had been quite a trigger, a springboard, a chance to face own limits and new horizons.
That was an exceptional show. No, no, not on stage, but all around the show!!
Because for the first time my brother was there, he who usually composes the music, he who never ever saw me on stage!!!!!!!!! A luxury to have him at the technique :-) following my voice every second, regulating the volume of the music perfectly all along the show, so enhancing the mise en scène of the concept.. and because it was his birthday!!!
Because it was the final party of the Roze Dagen Film Festival, where the screenings of Risk, Stretch or Die were hopelessly sold out, and so it was at the Hot Pepper Club too..
.. and because I met wonderful people, talking suddenly so personaly to me, thanking me for the inspiration to find themselves even more motivation to go on stage again, or to live even more between the genders. Amsterdam, your questions were the toughest ever at the Q&As, but your answers were the nicest to me. Thanks and see you soon - maybe already this summer!!
